The free Thru the Bible in Thirty Weeks reading program is designed for those around the world who want to participate as individuals, Bible study fellowships, home Bible study groups, and churches, using the free resources provided here online at ThrutheBibleinThirtyWeeks.com.
Plan to read through and study the entire Bible during a 30 week period, beginning any time! Read Monday through Saturday, with Sunday as a day for rest and worship, review, or planning ahead, or “catching up” (if you fall behind in your reading). All materials here are FREE TO USE, and are provided for not-for-profit use only. All materials are copyrighted and all rights reserved, but you are free to copy, revise for your needs, and reprint them for your nonprofit use.
The plans and the materials provided here week by week include ideas for a pastor or a Bible teacher giving a message during the congregation’s worship service, a Sunday school class lesson, and a midweek lesson. A Thru the Bible in 30 Weeks Calendar shows what Scripture texts need to be read and which Bible verses can be covered in the message and preview lessons should you plan to use them with your group. Bible school classes and weekly evening Bible studies can preview the assigned readings and help encourage students to keep reading the Bible; teaching them what to especially consider as they read through the Bible. No readings will be assigned for Sundays; therefore, Sundays can be used to “catch up” in one’s reading, if necessary, or to plan ahead for the next week’s readings at your own pace.
If your group is not quite ready to read through the entire Bible, consider reading Thru the New Testament in Thirteen Weeks.
The Thru the Bible in Thirty Weeks Reading Program will help individuals, Bible study groups, and churches encourage one another to read through and study the entire Bible in 30 weeks or 180 days. REMEMBER: ALL MATERIALS ARE FREE FOR YOU TO USE! Use the Calendar Pages (a total of 6 pages, because each calendar page covers 5 weeks of readings). Each calendar page is prepared so you can begin the program any month or year in order to work through the entire program. Each week. the Thru the Bible in Thirty Weeks website will add many helpful materials for teachers and leaders. If you have additional study time, to help you better remember what your have read each day (and for review later) print out the notebook pages for the daily Bible readings and Build Your Own Book of notes. The Daily Bible Reading Summaries, which you may want to add to your own notebook, will help you each day, but we suggest that students in the class focus primarily on reading through the Bible and taking their own notes as they have time. Notes taken in your class or from the weekly message or class handouts can all help you Build Your Own Book. The important thing to remember is your goals are developing the habit of daily Bible reading and reading through the entire Bible, whether in thirty weeks or a year. The extra Bible Lessons available through the Thru the Bible in Thirty Weeks website and the International Bible Lessons website can be used as background study material for leaders and teachers (or individual readers) or to enhance and supplement your individual study.
