Ranch Story Connection

Samuel's Dream

Dan and Ella cared deeply about Samuel's future. Because they trusted Jake Harmon, they came to him for help and guidance. Their trust reminds us of the Roman centurion, who came to Jesus believing He could help someone he cared for. Jesus Christ proved throughout His life and ministry that He could and would help anyone who came to Him with a need. Our ranch stories show many ways that Jake helped people who needed him whether he knew them or not.

Both the Scripture lesson and the ranch story invite us to think about faith, humility, intercession, and the courage to ask for help when someone we love is in need.

Ranch Reflection

The centurion did not try to solve every problem by himself. He brought his burden to Someone he trusted. Faith often begins when we recognize our need and place our confidence in the One who can truly help.
